November 2009

Over the past 13 episodes Ruby and Wallace’s acting has not faltered at all, which I think is spectacular. They don’t only act as though their feelings are genuine; their emotions and acting are realistic. They show all of this to their friends and family in the drama as well. Which I think is and importance and key to a brilliant drama. I have also begun to get used to their over dubbed voices; this I don’t find such a burden to the drama anymore, the actions and the way the drama is set up completely overwrites that minor problem.

Jing Jing’s feelings and emotions really are deep with concern to her past (ref ep 12). Yun Xiang also holds deep feelings and concerns regarding the past and everything that happened.

Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo’s chemistry isn’t just convincing it is very natural; their body language together I think is superb! To me they look like a real couple, even after she finds out his identity, you can see it as though it is being played out before your very eyes. I think it’s wonderful to finally find another drama like this as I don’t always enjoy watching fake feelings. You can feel their emotions in this drama even if they are only a character.

Ming Ming is getting a change of heart towards Fan Yang after what he did for her, it’s cute how her cold demeanor is becoming warmer, and she also seems very happy around him and enjoys the praise he gives her. I like the gradual feelings that Ming Ming and Fan Yang build for eachother. They are beginning to show curiousity about eachother and caring more for one another. They try to help eachother in work and their conversations between one another is less tense (ref ep 13).

Ming Ming unexpectedly meets Yun Xiang; as the drama progresses the fact Yun Xiang keeps getting light headed, dizzy or even ends up fainting clearly indicates that this will subtly build up and create some kind of problem or climax to the drama in the future (ref ep 13). I also now understand why Fan Yang, was so startled after seeing Yun Xiang on the floor, I can see their connection to one another now.

Li Na, still irritates me. Her pursuits of Cheng Gao are successful but she still holds a grudge against Jing Jing? She also seems to interfere with her personal matters ¬¬. Dan Dan still prefers Jing Jing over Li Na. I can see Li Na is targeting Cheng Gao’s heart through Dan Dan’s acceptance of her. Which even though it’s nice she is trying it is confusing Dan Dan because she is only young but she isn’t doing it with complete honesty and not by herself she is using Dan Dan as a booster and starting point.

So, very subtly things are beginning to change and take form in the drama. I look forward to seeing these changes unfold as I continue to watch and review this drama! Keep checking for more updates!

I notice that the drama is slowly turning romantic, as we are finally getting under way in this drama. The love triangle isn’t as obvious as I thought it would be at around this time of this drama; but it is still there, I’m just wondering when it is decided to come into play.

The pressure from Zhen Zhen on the other hand is beginning to kick in, slowly you notice her jealousy seeping through as Pi Dan tells her how the relationship between Da Feng and Fu An is progressing, but Da Feng on the other hand seems to have let her slip and only remembers her when he wants to, or when she is seen or when she interferes. Da Feng has self realization (rep ep 9) and how he wants to go back, he realizes that Fu An really does care for him and that he is having second thoughts on how he should be living his second chance at life.

Yang Yang surprises me with how much he actually knows and just how wise he really is (rep ep 9). He actually decides to play Zhen Zhen at her own game and can also read her like a book. The grandfather as well knows a lot; well more than I thought about Da Feng and Zhen Zhen’s complicated relationship they both have…and he definitely is a scheming old man (ref ep 10).

I like how even though Da Feng is meant to be lulling her into a false sense of security he is falling in love with her in the process, without realizing it himself; he gets jealous which then makes him follow Dong Jie and Fu An on their date. On their date he somehow by fluke I would say ends up protecting her and stops Fu An and Dong Jie from getting hurt. The letter he leaves her along with the gift he gives to her; gives me the feeling that it comes from the heart rather than just the lie he is trying to create.

I have noticed that the family aren’t so greedy for the money, and they are thinking less of the money and more of the people; unfortunately they still have more progress to make because small opportunities or chances make them revert back the money power hungry people they were when they first met Fu An and Pi Dan. Zhen Zhen on the other hand is definitely in a different situation now that she’s ‘together’ with Yang Yang as they are both playing the same game and we all know that Zhen Zhen is playing with fire but then again they could really fall for eachother.

It was too easy for Da Feng to get Fu An’s acceptance to his proposal after such a short amount of time but also after what he has done to her, but luckily Zhen Zhen’s true colours are being shown bit by bit because of this and Da Feng is clearly prolonging the plans they had to spend the time with Fu An; as he has either completely changed how he feels or he is confused by his feelings.

I have noticed that Grandpa Wang Cai is definitely up to something…by the smirk on his face when Da Feng fainted after drinking his drink and also his hospital results seem strange (rep ep 10). I think Grandpa Wang Cai is doing it for two reasons; 1) to mess the family up and this will cause their true colours to be forced to the surface but also create enough time to see who is to blame before their plans are changed and 2) to see Da Feng’s true feelings towards Fu An.

Sadly, he tries to push Fu An away so she won’t be lonely when he ‘goes’. I think that’s really pure and in a sense has already clarified how he feels for Xie Fu An, but there are still many obstacles to pass for these two loved ones.

I will do the last 7 episodes in one huge chunk, I will detail it and do it to the best of my ability because I am sure many of my review readers are impatient with waiting for what I have to say. Not only that but I also have many other dramas to review so I had better get my skates on!

Please, keep checking this site as there will be new reviews on; Hi, My Sweetheart, Momo Love #2, Black & White #6, Sound of Colours #3, Autumn’s Concerto #2, Love Contract Finale and Easy Fortune Happy Life Finale!

I have decided I want to review a light and care free drama, a very romantic drama because I need something to relax with, I have therefore picked to review Momo Love, I will also review the new drama with Rainie Yang and Alan Luo in which is Hi, My Sweetheart. I will gradually finish the Easy Fortune, Happy Life reviews and get back to reviewing Black & White and Sound of Colours soon! I hope you enjoy!

Momo Love

Okay, since there are many characters in this drama, first I wrote down which characters there were also for my review readers to know who the characters drama names are and the actors names, if you don’t know already. Chen Tao Hua is played by Cyndi Wang, she is a popular girl and many boys obviously like her by the look of the start of the drama when the boy confesses to her. Yet, she is also protected by her FIVE brothers she has, what a house full!

Chen Qi is the first and eldest brother who is played by Ken Zhu, and by the looks of it he is a weatherman! Haha! He is protective of his sister. Chen Cheng is the second eldest brother who is played by Lan Jun Tian, I have not seen him in any dramas I don’t think, so I shall see his performance. In the drama he looks like a fashion designer to me but he is also very protective of his sister. Chen Zhuan is the third eldest, but he is also one of a twin, this character is played by Ding Chun Cheng, I have not seen him in any dramas either, but in this drama he is extremely clever and very protective of his sister. The fourth brother is Chen He, the twin of Chen Zhuan. He is played by Godfrey Gao, he is a sportsman the complete opposite to his twin. Like his four other brothers he is protective like the rest of them. They try to take down any men in pursuit of Chen Tao Hua, which I think is a bit childish really. The final and last brother is Yu Yi (Jing Wong) and his brothers don’t really take much notice of him, but Chen Tao Hua tries to involve him in a lot and sticks up for him as well so he doesn’t feel as invisible.

To me this drama is obviously, going to turn into a love triangle, and it’s obvious who is going to win and who is going to win the girls heart, and who is going to lose it. Jiro Wang is starring as Shi Lang, to be honest I really love Jiro’s acting and I’m quite happy to be watching another drama with him as a main character as I enjoyed watching his performance in ToGetHer and hopefully his acting will be as good if not better than ToGetHer. He has cut his hair!!! Very stylish..and yummy 😛 Cyndi Wang, I have seen before in Smiling Pasta, which is one of my all time favorite dramas and I do think her acting is very cute and shy, so hopefully this collaboration of Cyndi and Jiro will make some good chemistry!

Their first meeting by the bus stop did leave some kind of impression on me (ref ep 1) as they look straight at eachother with a meaningful gaze, so that shows me these two main characters will definitely have chemistry in the future, which is a very good start. Their awkward silences between eachother (ref ep 1 & 3) shows there is some underlying feelings between them which also gives the drama a very good starting advantage.

I feel sorry for Yu Yi as the ‘odd one’ who sort of got pushed out, is made to sacrifice, in the first episode his room and then he has to do all sorts of things to try and please his brothers, which he seems to never be able to do. He gets forced into a lot of things he really doesn’t want to do, and because the older four brothers seem to pair up he is the only one left out, but he shares a much closer relationship with Tao Hua by the looks of things, yet what he does in order to stop Tao Hua liking Shi Lang, and editing the photo (ref ep 2) is a bit far. The fact Tao Hua beats Shi Lang at judo is quite funny but it deja vu…how they reminds me very much of Smiling Pasta (ref ep 2). I also find Chen Qi’s remark hilarious “It’s okay if you lose, big brother will help you get even.”

You can tell Tao Hua, begins to like Shi Lang, as over a series of scenes, she gets ever more curious about this mysterious Shi Lang, that in the drama we have much yet to learn. She starts to, see him in daydreams and sees his face everywhere which is a clear sign she’s starting to like him (ref ep 2) but we don’t get to see much of Shi Lang’s reaction except from when he isn’t angered by the accidental kiss instead he feels all ‘odd’ about it and around her. Tao Hua is so sheltered from love, but Cyndi makes it pure and cute. It’s sweet how all her brothers decide to help her out in love!

The brothers I don’t understand, they can obtain…photos, videos and information on all these people, and on Shi Lang and Tao Hua in seconds..which makes me think they’re like a brother mafia; its kind of over obsessive to how protective they are of Tao Hua. For example; the video of Shi Lang helping Tao Hua after she runs out into the traffic (ref ep 2) and he saves her; which is so cute may I add! I have also come to notice, that the family all have very vivid imaginations on things and jump too fast to conclusions which tends to land them all in silly situations. The acting from all of these brothers is very good, and I really enjoy watching the comedy that they put together, they all seem very close in general which helps the drama along as they are comfortable in eachothers presence.

The parents return (ref ep 3) and by the looks of it they seriously favor Tao Hua over the five boys. In a way I understand why her mum wanted a girl; at the time of having all those five boys she felt it impossible to have a girl and therefore she’d be lonely as the only female with no one to have a special daughter/mother bond with, unlike the father who has the opportunity to  bond with all the five boys differently to the mother.

I look forward to the next episode; but I will be uploading reviews in chunks as always!

I have decided to review Autumn’s Concerto, as I was looking for a new drama to watch and going through lists. I have so far reviewed all 5 of the first few episodes. So Enjoy!

I found this drama, a deeply emotional drama, and it is only just the beginning, so I wonder what the rest of the drama has in store for us viewers.

Autumn's Concerto 1

It is a very cliche and predictable drama; the sweet and innocent girl attracts the deeply scarred man by his past but he applies the hard faced man. A hate towards eachother on their first meeting which turns to love, which always happens in the majority of asian dramas whether it be a chinese, japanese or korean drama.

I noticed the relationship between the two main characters fast forwarded. The male role changes due to her influence in just 2 episodes. I’m usually not very keen towards dramas that take this route but the acting was terrific and the sped up emotions between the two main characters seemed to fit really well. I will learn not to be so skeptical next time I’m browsing for dramas.

The acting was amazing, Vanness Wu can portray; cocky, vulnerable, sad, anger – all of these different emotions spectacularly as Ren Guang Xi hi character. Ady An is an actress I have not seen, as I have not watched any dramas wih her in which I regret now because her acting is superb along side Vanness Wu, and they both create a realistic feeling to the drama and as a drama reviewer I look for these qualities in the selected cast.

The storyline is the first thing that attracted me to the drama, I like the twists and turns in it, they have simple answers to each problem they are faced yet the each take complicated paths.

The pasts of the main roles is very deep and emotional, one taking it far better than the other, but in a way Mu Cheng (Ady An) helps him out of the darkness he has surrounded himself in.

The chemistry between them keeps bubbling and bubbling. This is why I love it, and I’m sure many reviewers like myself love these types of drama because it gives us something great to watch and a joy to write about. Ady An is great as Mu Cheng; quiet, preserved, but with a strong heart to keep moving on and to hole Ren Guang Xi out of the misery he wallowed himself in when he first met her.

I hope to see a spectacular drama as it continues to unfold.

Sorry guys but currently, this drama I have to put on hold for the time being in order to catch up with a few reviews on Easy Fortune, Happy Life, but also simply because I don’t have the urge to watch something psychological at the moment, I really just need to watch light and simple dramas for the time being, as with school I am going under a lot of stress in preparation for end of year final exams. I hope you understand.

I watched this drama, around a year ago, and I was looking through the collection of Taiwanese dramas in specific I have watched and a found multiple ones that I couldn’t quite remember what had happened, so I selected a few to just re-watch and review and this was the first one on my list, I also found an old drama with Rainie Yang in and Shawn Yue, in a drama called Tomorrow I will review that after too, but these reviews won’t be for ever 2 episodes or in halves it will be a review over the whole drama at the end.

I like the opening song of the drama, it’s very mysterious and romantic just like the drama, and fits well into the whole scheme of things, I also enjoy listening to the background songs too, it also syncs in well with the rest of the dramas storyline and the acting. The pictures of the two man characters that go along side the opening song are really beautiful and the editing is really well done.

I don’t understand the very start of the drama, it was strange with the girl actually watching herself from behind a wall of glass. First drama I saw Ariel Lin in and also one of the first dramas I ever watched. In this drama, I felt a bit sorry for the two sisters and the lack of a father figure in their lives and their mum has a serious emotional problem. I never understood before why she wore a wig and it was partly to conceal herself because inside she is infact shy and fragile but she never wanted to show it.

I never knew that the main lead was Mike He at the time, but I did notice how attractive he was 😛 Kendo and swimming, I actually love the fact they both take part in a sport rather than just the guy in most dramas cases. I find that both of the sports are skillful and tedious, but in Kendo you have more potential of getting battered and bruised than in swimming. I love how Ken is an artist, but without realizing it he draws Xiao Feng as an angel which is absolutely adorable.

Her friends are quite amusing from what I’ve noticed, their acting seems very natural but there is room for improvement. I have noticed the majority of her friends I haven’t seen in any other dramas, so they are supporting roles. For once, in this drama Mike He can actually cook! Surprisingly, the guy has a poor background and lives in a poorer situation that the girl. I feel sorry for the owner of the bar; Doris (Referring Ep 1) but she seems to get awfully agitated.

The whole computer thing with her and Mu Tou is really odd he is typing by computer and so is she obviously but this is represented as her sitting in front of some screen and speaking her replies to his questions. Mu Tou remains anonymous going by the name Shui at the start of the drama, which I found very interesting. May I add, that the classroom seating looks pretty cool, we never get that in our schools, I’m envious, our colleges have huge halls and seats like in assembly halls.

I like the fact the guy earns the money instead of being some rich pompous guy as in most romantic dramas. Xiao Feng seems pretty middle class in her living situation, but I’m surprised that she is scared by quite a lot of things; fire, water – well vast amounts of it, like swimming pools. A BBQ on the beach at night; is something I’d love to try along with my friends. They all wish on the shooting star, I liked Xiao Feng’s wish it was very cute. I also, definitely think she is prettier with long hair. It’s nice oh he saves her, but because she is so self conscious she slaps him? Xiao Feng is clearly very temperamental.

I still find the computer relationship between Xiao Feng and Mu Tou, really weird, it’s obvious he has feelings for Xiao Feng , but hiding his identity in order to get close to her…just creeps me out a litte, and sets me out of my comfort zone and I’m only reviewing the drama. Imagine actually being in that situation? I also like her character; head strong, stubborn and very dense. Like she’s too dense to realize Mu Tou likes her to such a deep extent. I do like how very gently they ease the identity of the ‘mysterious computer friend’ into the drama throughout the episodes and also how significant it actually is. Xiao Feng undoubtedly trusts this ‘Shui’ person which is a key plot in the drama.  Xiao Bai and Kai are the two who make up the love contract, it’s nice how they try to make her wish come true. So, Ken gets a swimming team only as long as he courts Xiao Feng. I love how decorated they made the Love Contract xD!! The Love Contract looks all jumbled to me when I look at it. Both Ken and Xiao Feng are complete opposites, but they always say opposites attract.

Now rather than Xiao Feng sitting on her own, it shows Xiao Feng sitting next to Mu Tou in person and talking, this is added effect it represents the MSN conversations between the two. Mu Tou is the only one that knows he is ‘Shui’ but to see Xiao Feng everyday and not feel the slightest bit guilty is beyond me.

So far I have established that Ken, is in fact half japanese?! He also tends to mouth behind her back a lot, and other people do for that matter. Ariel Lin, in my opinion is plain but very pretty; but to be honest girls are prettier that way. I find it funny how on their first ‘outing’ together, her friend is following Ken with the Love Contract. I discover that Ken has a phobia towards blood or just feels ill after it being taken. I find it cute when she plays with his face, whilst he rests and then steals his toy and plays with his and her toy. She’s definitely a child at heart, but she is a very demanding and high maintenance girl. Xiao Feng is also very private about the scars from her past.

I like when Doris, begins to teach Xiao Feng a little bit on the keyboard, and Ken’s uncle acts a bit perverse to be honest, but he is definitely an amusement to me 😀 In all honesty, I think Xiao Feng is brilliant, a pioneer for females! She gave him 5 boxes of popcorn xD!! Yet, not everything is funny or worth laughing over in this drama. There are very serious and touching scenes. Xiao Yuen, obviously was having an affair with her boss, who is married. She loses her child she had with him after falling down the stairs, I feel a lot of pity towards the characters that is Xiao Yuen.

The fact Xiao Feng knows Ken’s mum is a bit strange for me to be honest, but it’s nice how his mum takes her to an amusement place to let her forget her troubles. I feel sorry for Xiao Feng as her parents hate eachother and her own past isn’t all that great. At first, I didn’t quite understand her past, but gradually you grow to understand why she is the way she is. Yet, when she is drunk and he helps her, their attraction and chemistry with one another is more pronounced, I find it sweet how he tries to comfort her even though they try so hard and deny that they really don’t like eachother.

I don’t understand why he takes on the contract again, they were fine before when he canceled the contract, but I think it’s because he wants the easiest way for swimming members to join. He actually does care about Xiao Feng so that may be why he agreed to the contract, but her friends obviously don’t see that.

The sisters have a very close relationship with one another, and Ken seems to have a very close relationship with his uncle and it is indeed a very amusing relationship too! I love how Xiao Yuen transforms Xiao Feng, she was absolutely stunning when she does the catwalk. Mu Tou on the other hand, I really can’t like him. Also, the whole mumbo jumbo reciting those ancient poems just annoys me a little bit. I actually can’t stand Mu Tou, he’s blatantly jealous of Ken and has a huge unrequited love with Xiao Feng, but to destroy their happiness is a bit harsh really, and he even gets a smug look on his face knowing what he did.  Throughout the episodes, I also notice Ken always draws on the same portrait of the fallen angel, which in some way shows me that this portrait is very significant to the drama.

I feel sorry for Xiao Yuen, as she is put on a love rollercoaster just for one man. His wife also accepts what he does; but it breaks the family down and that in my opinion is wrong for someone to do that. I know if I was in her situation I would definitely not handle it in the way she does.

I love how the drama gradually progresses with the care and love that Ken and Xiao Feng feel towards eachother, and slowly but surely she reveals parts of her personality and past to him and he does the same. He reveals his true feelings to her through the puppet show he performs for her, it is cute but also very different from the other dramas I’ve seen. I love their first kiss! I like how she realizes her feelings but she doesn’t seem too fazed by it at all :L! Even after their kiss they are still so hesitant to get together.

I don’t get why they have a bath in their house though, but she is a proper zombie when she wakes up in the mornings. I find it quite cool how they mixed the japanese culture into the drama, and how Ken’s uncle and Ken’s mum converse in japanese, but I do feel sorry for his mum. Yet, Mu Tou speaking in another language, definitely isn’t cool in order to hide how he truly feels. Xin Lei!? Oh my days, she’s definitely a nag and she’s only a support actress!!

The training with the collaboration of the swimming and kendo team, actually looks really fun. I also like how Ken is always two steps ahead of Mu Tou in everything. Yet, for god sake how many people are falling in love with Xiao Feng?

This is, the first installment of my halved reviews on Love Contract. Keep checking, there should be a new review up very soon!!

Okay luckily, I’ve found a website that allows me to watch Easy Fortune, Happy Life. I will review as much as possible tonight, as it is my holidays and I’m up to date with all of my assignments. So I hope you enjoy!! This is a review of episodes 6, 7 and 8. I reviewed this large chunk so that the review can be done faster as the drama has been completed over the time that the connection between Viikii and Youtube declined.

I find it sweet when Da Feng offers his help to Fu An when she tries so hard to show him what she can do (those socks in the sauna haha). She gets drunk on chocolates filled with alcohol – lightweight! His sneaky kiss (referring ep 5) I forgot to mention these parts in my previous review.

First things first, I would definitely not be the one screaming if I woke up next to him. She’s so naive and pure hearted that he just seems to lie to her through his teeth. She is just taken in by it, and he uses it to wind her up and tease her along with having his other agenda behind the inheritance. I really hope she is able to change his dreadful attitude, she’s such a pure person, how could you lie to someone like that? Also Kai Li = total malicious bitch!

I find it nice how her hard work paid off by her research and product both being successful (Referring Ep 6). I don’t like how a lot of people tend to use Fu An, she can’t help being naive she is from the country and in a completely new environment over the next 3 episodes you see how hard it actually is for her to deal with as it’s all new for her to digest. I find it really nice to watch as Da Feng’s barrier is gradually crumbling; even if it is a slow process. You can tell he cares as he joins in with Fu An to play volleyball with the school children, and how he assures her that she is not alone. You can tell that the chemistry between the two main characters is very intense, and building up. I love their eye contact, it is very natural to me. It can be seen that these two main characters can really pull off the romantic parts. This is why I approve of these two main characters, I like hw the two become all shy if they touch or their eyes meet because both of them vowed in a sense not to have intimate feelings for one another. It is definitely a cliche hate turn to love romance drama but for me it is both light and simple as a drama but the chemistry there is astounding, that is why it is worthwhile to watch.

Da Feng really tries to push her away but the more he attempts to do so, she only gets closer to his heart. In a way due to how bad his childhood was, it effects the things he does even more so now in his adult life. This is why I detest Zhen Zhen, she provokes his inner evil that he then inflicts on everyone else. (Referring Ep 8) When Fu An is slowly making progress and Da Feng debates whether he is falling in love with Fu An. Zhen Zhen just wipes all of Fu An’s hard work on the floor and provokes Da Feng back to his original goal. The 80 billion, she also has the trick of being able to blackmail and bribe Da Feng ¬¬ Malicious person.

Da Feng, is really starting to try hard for both Fu An and Ba Bao Tang. I find it sweet when Fu An does her speech (Referring Ep 6) but when her new product and all the hard work is snatched out from underneath her feet she apologizes to her Grandma and goes to find Dong Jie because that is who she can really trust to cry on. Da Feng is worried about her and he actually spends his time looking for her, so the care for her and all the changes to his once rich and arrogant life is being watered down. In my opinion, Da Feng may be able to lie but he is definitely the sharpest tool in the toolbox, when he does the speech to Si Wu Tang (Referring Ep 6) he seems to be speaking about Fu An from the heart, and that really effects Fu An, I like her character a lot simply because she is such a modest, kind, shy and caring person. Yet, Da Feng for now will not stop being the sly and evil person he has become, until Fu An does something that really hits his heart. Fu An really wants to see his other expressions, not just his stern and serious ones that he always seems to have. The way Fu An gives the fire truck to Da Feng, trying to show him his childhood wasn’t all horrific memories, but there were good ones in there to.

If I were in Kai Li’s situation, I would have started to feel guilty by now because the thing is Fu An put trust in her, and to be trusted by someone is better that to not be trusted at all. She is a good liar, but to be fair she has the oppurtunity to have a job back again but instead she decides to stay the enemy, Si Wu Tang is really a coward who uses underhanded methods because he can’t admit defeat to Wang Cai. Idiot. In all fairness, it’s Kai Li’s loss for siding with a horrible man. Yang Yang? Well what can I say I absolutely adore him, I think he is definitely the ‘dark horse’ of this drama and knows a lot more that you would think. He really knows how to hit the heart when others need to understand something that could be important to them in the future. Pi Dan, although he is a supporting role of this drama, he is always an entertainment to watch. He is young and doesn’t understand a lot of his surroundings. Like any kid who is brought into a family like that would definitely lap it up. Him and Wang Cai are getting close and their bond is growing. Pi Dan high fives him in the car on the way to Family Day (Referring Ep 8) xD!!

Dong Jie is so kind hearted beneath his tough exterior, he appreciates and is growing very fond of Fu An. He has always been her shoulder to cry on since their first meeting. Thus, the love triangle begins but it is only very subtle. Which in my opinion is good because if it happens all at once it’s too much for an audience to understand and to take in and then it becomes boring and corny. Gradually, you can see the jealousy in Da Feng due to Dong Jie and Fu An’s relationship making him take action. The love triange gradually becomes more pronounced as you see how Fu An is changing Da Feng, the impact she has on him in different ways but also how she is being pulled in by his slow softening of his own heart. Not just these two are progressing, Fu An has always had an influence on Dong Jie since their first encounter, but Fu An clearly has a soft spot for Dong Jie. I fear the more Da Feng keeps being torn two ways she will always run back to Dong Jie. What I like about Blue Lan the actor portraying Da Feng is that he has an ability to swap his personalities with speed and accuracy at the same time being convincing. As an actor this is important and for Blue it is a raw and special talent to have, so I enjoy watching his acting.

In episode 7/8 you begin to notice the changes in the family altogether. Their communication amongst eachother is changing even if the progress is small there is much less bitterness in their tone of voice. Fu An is definitely bringing them together and gradually warming their hearts. Little by little the more time they spend with Fu An individually and see the way she works and says things to them, they are changing by choice and not by being forced. Wang Cai is clearly making up for how wrongly he brought up his children in the past 60 years. I also notice all the family want is to be acknowledged by Wang Cai and receive his approvals yet he is too hard faced to give that. Wang Cai is really trying to repent; the actor portraying Wang Cai; you can see is clearly wise and does not lack in portraying the emotions needed for the part very accurately.

So,I think that slowly the family are learning how to come together and act like a proper family does, to care and love on another but most of all Da Feng is learning how to love and be loved which is actually very important in any persons life because if you were alive and all you thought to life was dying. You would be very lonely, love is something that keeps you alive and is the main purpose to life. That is my opinion anyway, others may see things differently.
