Hey guys, as you all know it is the finale of Momo Love! I waited an extra week so I could do this last review in a big chunk! I want to thank everyone for reviewing this drama on my webpage! I will soon after finally finishing Autumn’s Concerto, in a couple of weeks put up Black & White. Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about it, Sound of Colours and Love Contract will also be done! Please sit tight, I have to try to get up as many reviews before my revision for exam finals begin!

So, I’ve noticed that the next few episodes also involve, another side story plot, which is quite nice as things are slowly tying in together. I really like Shi Lang and Tao Hua together, as characters in this drama but Cyndi and Jiro, really seem quite good together in the sense they can act, and over the past few episodes their acting has actually become better and they are so much more relaxed around eachother, it’s nice to see.

The guy under the white cloth is creepy (Ref Ep 10). What is that guy trying to do? He takes Yu Yi, Hui Qi, Shi Lang and Tao Hua hostage, all for Lulu?! How…strange, that situation must be so awkward, sitting tied up with nowhere to go.

Yu Yi, really likes Hui Qi, which is really cute; and to admit his feelings that outright is really sweet but he is really so modest, he should be fighting a little harder! Her reply to him is too hasty, she should think before she speaks, she isn’t taking everything into consideration, she’s just wiping it away (Ref Ep 10). I think that Hui Qi, really has to let go, in reality she never had a chance because she is only a little sister to Shi Lang.

Zhi Xiang really makes me laugh (Ref Ep10) but he is being quite stalkerish, and when they leave him there it makes me feel quite happy, he is. His character, I really don’t like. He is too cheesy, and just too…over the top and it is so cringeworthy to watch. I know he likes Tao Hua and everything, but what he does (Ref Ep 12) is a bit too much.

I like how the brothers finally realize, they are really too strict on Tao Hua, considering she is an adult. They aren’t quite so protective though as they simply let her go rather to Shi Lang’s rather than trying to stop her, so in a way without realizing it, they’ve just let it become routine. Though you can tell they miss her presence, and even now they are still at a competition with eachother. During episode 10, I think what they ask of her is, a bit too much, yet they are trying to help her (Ref Ep 12) because they don’t want their mother to take her away, they want her to stay as much as she does.

I do feel really sorry for Tao Hua, she really doesn’t want to leave Shi Lang or her brothers, and she has been trying so hard to meet their requests, and even when luck really isn’t on her side she is still willing to try even if there is a small percentage of success. Shi Lang won’t admit it but he is feeling the pressure and stress but is trying to hide it so it won’t dishearten Tao Hua. She may seem naive and dense, but she clearly knows what is happening and she has matured a lot throughout this drama. In their own ways, as Tao Hua practices they are all trying to help her. Everyone wants to help, even Tao Hua’s dad; to cure her phobia of knives (Ref Ep 11) surely this is sincere enough. Aww, they conquer her fear together! To be fair, those little kids really are monsters (Ref Ep 11).

I like how honest and truthful Tao Hua is but Urgh, the parents are TOO strict, 6 points off? That’s ridiculous, and Zhi Qiang, irritates me completely. I really don’t like him. What right does he have turning up there anyway? Grrr (Ref Ep 11). Yay! He gets thrown out! I take back what I said about the parents being TOO strict :L WOW. Their mum is PREGNANT AGAIN? (Ref Ep 11).

Hui Qi, has her own burdens I guess. So it’s normal for her to feel an outcast in such a loving and happy family. Yu Yi, also feels it, he wants to join in, but he always feels like the spare part, so in loads of ways him and Hui Qi match. I find it funny how the brothers now have nothing to do, because before their lives revolved around Tao Hua and Shi Lang, so they move in on Yu Yi and Hui…that’ll definitely be funny. Yet, at least they’re helping with his happiness rather than hindering. I don’t understand how he can like her, but at least his family are behind him and slowly he is progressing to her heart 🙂 I think Hui Qi should give Yu Yi a chance, since he’s persistent and so sweet to her!

Calvin is still being a creepy stalker (Ref Ep 12) I really think he should give up, but at least Tao Hua is letting him down gently and kindly, and is being nice to him; but it’s quite funny when he asks her for the kiss and it’s obvious Shi Lang isn’t listening to the music. Shi Lang really is quite protective of Tao Hua, which is really cute.

Aw, Yu Yi goes to all that trouble to protect Hui Qi (Ref Ep 12), and when he tells her he doesn’t have to worry about her, you can tell by the look on her face that saddens her, but instead says he wants to protect her. That is really cute, he may not have great qualities like his brothers but he definitely has his own special ones. He jumps in the lake trying to find Hui Qi’s stone, thats so cute!

The old man that Yu Yi meets makes me laugh (Rep Ep 12). He is Hui Qi’s grandfather and the other two must be Hui Qi’s parents! So, she ran away. In a way, I think Hui Qi wanted to break free from her parents not for Shi Lang, he was just a bonus. Yu Yi, knows it’s Hui Qi and keeps hallucinating  about her haha! Oh dear, he goes back, and Hui Qi, actually must have some kind of feeling for him to react like she did but…get’s whacked in the head..poor Yu Yi 😦 Loses his memory too 😦 (Ref Ep 12). He doesn’t lose his sense of humor though, when he starts to differentiate the brothers, I take back losing his memory..he fakes it. Aww, he kisses Hui Qi…FINALLY. Oh dear, another twist for the final episodes, an unstable nurse playing musical chairs with new born babies.

It’d be so sad if they were related, I like them together too much, when he hugs her from behind on the balcony (Ref Ep 13) 😦 They watch the videos together, and watch their memories. I wonder what the brothers are plotting with Hui Qi for Yu Yi O_o. Shi Lang and Tao Hua, go off together, and everyone is really worried, but Hui Qi and Yu Yi build together on a better relationship. Aww, the brothers all need Yu Yi, it’s so cute how they for just a moment have such a brotherly love grouping (Ref Ep 13). Qi Ge, is really having a rough time, now his girlfriend is leaving him as well 😦

That nurse, is seriously off her nut, her hair is amazing though (Ref Ep 13) but I’m really glad to find out they aren’t brother and sister, since it would have been sort of weird, yet it is a common lead to take in the TWDramas’. So jump forward to the future, and they all live on the same street?! I love the family photo. Yet, it’s nice to see that all of them are with people or happy, with children but…I feel sorry for Zhuan Ge, yet maybe he can find his love…soon 🙂

Overall, I really enjoyed this light hearted drama, Jiro and Cyndi’s acting has improved a lot. I look forward to seeing more dramas with them in. It has love of a family, love between two people, it also had lots of different stories to tell, there weren’t too many but there wasn’t too few either. It was really nice to watch. The chemistry and connection between the characters was nice, but I think the drama could have perhaps been a bit less over the top, as it got a bit tedious but I think it was still entertaining and nice to watch.

I hope you guys, enjoyed the drama as much as I did and also enjoyed my reviews. I will re-start Black & White soon, along with any others I seem to have put on hold. Thankyou so much for bearing with me, I hope you continue to read my reviews as I watch new and old dramas that I choose!

This is finally, my next installment for Autumn’s Concerto, just to let you know Momo Love isn’t far behind! The next few episodes seems to be proper heartwrenchers so stay reading my reviews and the ones to come!

Tuo Ye really is too hot headed about Guang Xi setting up the whole village, when he clearly hasn’t got a clue. The way the villagers treat Guang Xi is a bit rude at the start of Episode 11 as they have no proof. The way Mu Cheng looks at Guang Xi when he leaves, it’s as if he’s feeling an emotion he cannot understand. Tuo Ye is blinded by jealousy; it’s about time he let go. I don’t like Chi Xin that much, I feel bad for her when she is rejected by Tuo Ye even if she is simple minded, she still has every right as everyone else to want to be loved. It’s nice that they give Guang Xi a second chance because slowly his old memories and personality is coming back.

In a way I do like Yi Qian for being a nice person but I have personally never liked love triangles that are this complex, and there is soon to be a time when she will begin to lose him, and turn to selfishness. Out of all the characters, she will be the one hurt the most, because she never thought that Mu Cheng would one day reappear, that Xiao Le maybe want to find his dad. It’s a cruel trick of fate, but she in a way wanted him to herself, she was already being selfish without realizing it, and quietly obeyed Guang Xi’s mother.

Even with no memory of before the 6 years, he is still affected by Mu Cheng deeply and Xiao Le, he can feel a connection much deeper for the both of them but doesn’t know why. Ren Guang Xi and Xiao Le really are like father like son, yet without even noticing. Tuo Ye and Guang Xi are having minor competition with no need to be, but it’s just their links from before.

It’s ironic, how they go back to Sheng De University where everything began and the beginning for the two of them, memories. It’s even more ironic, that they are both locked in the same room, where they found the bird and he told her that story; deja vu. He is slowly recollecting his memories through flashbacks. I think without realizing it Mu Cheng wanted Guang Xi the man she loves to come back to her and for him to remember, by going back into that room, but she didn’t realize she had done it until his flashbacks begin. It must be an awkward situation for her, because she must want to tell him she was in that room with him before, but she can’t for the sake of everyone and everything else, including the lies that she has been forced to keep.

He desperately wants to remember. I really feel sorry for him in his situation when he says living his life is like living a life of a complete stranger, and slowly Mu Cheng is revealing to him the truth about him, his childhood and his past. I love how his progress to becoming the old him, is becoming visible. As I watch him slowly remembering, I still feel sadness watching Mu Cheng endure it, since his remembering is taking such a long time. She really is brave.

When Tuo Ye’s mother tells Guang Xi about how Mu Cheng came to be at the village, I really wanted him to remember, and when Xiao Le said Guang Xi smells like his dad, that really wanted to make me cry, yet I really pity Tuo Ye. He knows he can’t win but he still tries so hard. I love how he remembers in the thunder, just like the night they stayed together, that’s the flashback. The conversation they are having (Ref Ep 12) is so awkward, for her since she for one has to talk about herself as another person and him as someone else. Frustrating!

Personally I think Yi Qian and Tu Ye match together better, and also those two are completely unaware of what is about to happen. The reaction on Yi Qian and Mu Cheng’s face; explain everything. Aww the god of bathwater, that’s so cute. They really do, have a relationship that isn’t just of friendship, since I would never ever see a man quite so willingly get in a bath with a child they knew for a month.

She still has that photo of the two of them together, he really is connected, you can see the sorrow, that he feels like he doesn’t want to leave. I also noticed that Yi Qian isn’t all that nice and sweet, I do feel sorry for her but you can sense something bad is coming, and that his mother is a real stick in the mud. Mu Cheng, did never hurt Guang Xi, she did it because she was forced, I feel bad that Mu Cheng gets it aimed at her. I can understand, both of their feelings and arguments, but it was all instigated by Guang Xi’s MOTHER.

It’s cute how Tuo Ye tells her, his feelings…but the problem is even if she reluctantly agrees, she doesn’t love him and cannot reciprocate these feelings. She is trying so much harder than Yi Qian to be strong. She is doing it because she wants him to be happy and she is keeping to what she was told to do. That is far harder, than anything. To keep in those tears of sorrow and mask it with happiness. The moment between Guang Xi and Xiao Le, is so amazing, but with so much sorrow, you just want to scream Xiao Le is his.

Oh dear, Xiao Le goes after Guang Xi, and meets his grandmother without even knowing. Talk about deja vu. He faints oh dear 😦 and then once again everyone meets….like fate giving them all a cruel twist. Xiao Le brings them together, maybe for the best, but to get to the green grass it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

No matter though, how much I hate her, she didn’t know anything about Mu Cheng or Guang Xi and their relationship or what really happen, she does what she did based on what Guang Xi’s mother told her, and looked after him for so long, no wonder she would fall in love with him. How they all race to donate blood, and she denies Guang Xi for the simple reason, he’d find out he’s Xiao Le’s father.

So, Yi Qian discovers the truth, and Guang Xi’s mother really does hate Mu Cheng, yet I really don’t see why, and yet again treats her like rubbish. I hate that woman. I can understand Tuo Ye is trying to do good, but his natural hate before Guang Xi, is just proving there is a past that needs to be covered up, and Guang Xi really cannot answer half the questions Tuo Ye blames Guang Xi for.

Guang Xi, seems as if he is going to regret being with Yi Qiang, he is clearly drawn to Xiao Le by the natural instincts of a father, which pains Yi Qian because she has to lie, but Mu Cheng has had to hide it for much much longer. That professor, I really like him, he actually gives Guang Xi a straight answer, that is neither a lie, nor the truth; but instead an open doorway, to the answer he wants. He finds it, in the bracelet that has always been a link to his past, he really has opened Pandora’s box.

The way he changes instantly, to who he was before he met Mu Cheng, blaming it all on Mu Cheng is a misunderstanding. They are both now in full turmoil, he doesn’t realize the reason Mu Cheng really had to leave, and also she won’t admit because she is too scared, but also now doesn’t want Guang Xi to hate his mum, more than he already does. Now, they’re all going to have to go through another bad battle, to only finally realize the truth.

In a way, I am happy, I know it will all turn out well in the end, even if he only does want to marry Mu Cheng to let them both have Xiao Le, but you know he will find out the truth of what his mother has done in the end, and love will once again reign over the two. I like how Yi Qian and Guang Xi leave on good terms. It’s nice, maybe he is slowly beginning to see that maybe Mu Cheng didn’t do it because she didn’t want to, she had to. He also still doesn’t get the picture about Tuo Ye and her either. Which is REALLY irritating.

Vanness Wu, really has astounded me with his acting, I have never seen him on his own in a drama, apart from Peach Girl, but this is amazing. He really has talent and skill, Ady An can really pack a punch with her acting also. Together the chemistry is just fizzing and really boiling over.

Anyway, this review is extremely long, I’m sorry. I shall upload Momo Love ASAP. I also look forward to the next episodes to come, as you can see Pandora’s box is going to be solved.

Well, this is my second installment of: Hi, My Sweetheart! Recently, I have realized that I have a lot of reviews to speed up on, I have to complete as many as possible of recent new dramas but also do Black & White (which I have left on hold) Sound of Colours, and Love Contract. I will try to upload them, within my spare time! So enjoy, the next review of Hi, My Sweetheart!

So Episode 6 begins, three years into the future, and it Bao Zhu, still waits for Da Lang who has now taken back his original name Xue Hai. I noticed, that there are still old traits in Xue Hai; randomly falling asleep, jutting out his chin and his sensitivity (Ref Ep 6). He still, dresses in pink; like the Pink Panther and his driving skills match Bao Zhu’s; so both of them have come away from the relationship with different things they have learned and felt from one another. I love that, just by her voice he knows it’s her; and so the rollercoaster jolts into the dramas great storyline…

The flashbacks, I actually really like in this drama, because the memories of this drama between the two are meaningful, the whole idea and the storyline for this drama is different but they effect me as the viewer so much more as it is a change to watch, rather than the normal cliche dramas I have watched.

Xue Hai, is irresistibly Da Lang all over, like his little random thought outbursts, they make me laugh! No matter how hard “Da Lang” hides it, his true personality floods back when he’s with Bao Zhu. I love how many more Da Lang moments, are becoming frequent as the drama goes along. I noticed that now Bao Zhu only wants love; she no longer holds expectations in men, she changed because of Da Lang. Xue Hai, knows exactly how to irritate Bao Zhu, so he does that to bring back her fiery personality (Ref Ep 7). When Xue Hai turns back to Da Lang when he’s drunk it’s so cute (Ref Ep 9). Quite honestly, Episode 9, the kissing scene (spoiler, if you haven’t watched!) one of the best kissing scenes i’ve seen in a long time!

One thing that gets me is that she cannot figure out it’s Da Lang, because Da Lang was always not too good at lying, she just refuses to believe he’s back, and because of the incident that he has the heart to change too. All the clues are flashing her in the face, yet she doesn’t notice. I hate how Bao Zhu agrees to be Yang Feng’s boyfriend when Da Lang, is right in front of her (Ref Ep 8). Even if in his mind, he wants revenge on Bao Zhu, in Xue Hai’s heart, he still loves her and she also loves her Da Lang no matter how much she tries to forget. To me it’s almost as if they are going around in circles, at first she found Da Lang, irritating then warmed up to him.

The two sisters, are exactly the same; always bickering like an old couple haha! Yet, as always the eldest sister is up to her tricks again, being irritating as always, yet she has been like that from the start, you begin to get used to it. The 2nd sister, I didn’t see much of her in the beginning, now she seems to have a bigger role, I can understand that she is trying to help Da Lang, as they both think she hurt him, as they never knew the whole story, behind what happened to Bao Zhu, which aggravates me a little bit, but I’m sure everything will come to the surface in the end. I hated when they were drunk, their memories flooded back and they were more clear headed than they are sober, yet when they are sober they are blinded with some kind of ill feeling towards eachother and they don’t even know why! The fact after all that drama, that she cannot see he is Da Lang…how is it not obvious?! (Ref Ep 10).

As always, his jealousy is still child like and cute, I guess he can’t keep up face for very long at one time, it’d be nice for them both to realize that together the people they want to be is becoming more and more solid, when they are together, rather than being apart. On the other hand, Yang Feng, is a nice guy but he still irritates me, fair enough loving Bao Zhu all this time, I have to hand him that he is persistant and patient but to keep pestering her when ‘Da Lang’ will always be the one in her heart. On that note, I prefer Da Lang’s old room mates, not these new people. Just thought I’d add that in. Mo Li and Ye Qian return…ughh…as expected (Ref Ep 10).

All the way through this, even knowing Rainie Yang and Show Lo, are close friends behind scenes, their chemistry is so enjoyable to watch, whether they are pouting at eachother, being romantic, falling for eachother, angry with one another, turning a scene into a comedy, it’s enjoyable to watch. I love their acting together, they should do dramas more often with one another. They give me that lovely warm feeling, that makes me smile watching the drama, even sometimes in sad moments, because you know in the end everything is going to be okay. When he dresses as Da Lang, for her to see him again, actually made me cry (Ref Ep 10). I know though, she will find out, she will see the truth, and everything will be resolved.

Well, I look forward to the next few episodes, I don’t think there will be aroud 25 episodes, because that’ll drag a bit too long. I feel the episodes will be shorter. I look forward, to the next episodes updates, I hope you enjoyed my review!

Okay, Christmas and New Year are over, I decided to welcome in this New Year with the next review of Momo Love! Autumn’s Concerto and Hi, My Sweetheart won’t be far behind, just sit tight. So, enjoy the following review!

During, the beginning of episode 7, even if this is a romantic comedy, there is a plot to the story, even if the story is far fetched and much more over the top; it is still the storyline. A love square; Shi Lang, Tao Hua, Hui Qi and Zhi Qiang. Yet, only two of these four will triumph (Shi Lang and Tao Hua).

Their characters, are really strange, as I haven’t seen Calvin Chen in any other drama except Romantic Princess neither have I seen Li Jia Ying who plays Hui Qi. In this drama; quite honestly, I like neither of them. Their acting isn’t exactly great as they are both seemingly in characters that don’t suit them. Even if Calvin Chen is quite good looking I don’t like his character in this drama, and he cannot fake cry even if this drama is an over the top, and blatant in your face drama, the least he could do is learn to cry properly. Yet, I guess that comes with practice in acting. I think that Zhi Qiang’s role is actually quite creepy, but I have to hand it to him; he plays the brothers at their own games.

Cyndi Wang; hasn’t actually had that much in experience in the acting field, I have seen a lot of her previous dramas, but she has become a successful actor as she has progressed during her dramas, her intimacy scenes with romance like kissing, needs some more work to produce a proper kiss! Personally I cannot enjoy a good romance drama if the intimate scenes between the two love birds aren’t efficient. I know that Tao Hua’s personality is pure, sheltered and naive but seriously she cannot be that naive as to what Zhi Qiang is actually trying, nor can she notice the change in her brothers when Zhi Qiang comes to get her, compared to how they treat Shi Lang. She is both naive and dense ( Ref Ep 7).

I am beginning to get irritated by the brothers, yes they are meant to be loving and caring, but the way they treat Tao Hua is just so annoying, because let’s be serious she’s a big enough girl, to have a life of her own. They really like hurting Shi Lang and Tao Hua; as their relationship isn’t exactly stable yet! So, Zhi Qiang kisses Tao Hua (Ref Ep 7) though it was clearly forced…Shi Lang runs away?! I do, feel really upset for the both of them, Tao Hua did nothing wrong and became misunderstood, and Shi Lang doesn’t understand the whole story 😦

I like how Zhuan Ge and He Ge, actually  begin to do something to help Tao Hua, instead of being a hindrance, and they attempt to help both Tao Hua and Shi Lang (Ref Ep 7). I also never noticed until now how much charm He Ge actually has 😛 Yet Hui Qi, is unbelievably a spoilt child, underneath her cute exterior is an ugly interior. After all that hard work, Tao Hua doesn’t give up on him and she finally manages to say what she has wanted to say after all this time, and Shi Lang kisses her! Qi Ge on the other hand (Ref Ep 8) I lose a lot of respect for him, over Tao Hua’s feelings he’s thinking of his job status, after finding out that the old man is Zhi Qiang’s father.

Zhi Qiang’s father, is actually quite brutal and goes to such petty lengths to get what he wants, I take back what I said about Qi Ge, he really does love his sister, and due to Tao Hua finding out their secret room (Ref Ep 8) she’s obviously going to accept the proposal and sacrifice her love for her brother. I think on the other hand that Shi Lang should stop being blinded by anger and start to actually see the bigger picture, and how Tao Hua is actually feeling! Though, Calvin may not be making the situation for her any better at least he’s not as arrogant and pig headed and can see the tough situation Tao Hua is in.

So that box is her box filled with precious memories of Shi Lang (Ref Ep 8). To be honest, Yu Yi is the only one that can get through to Tao Hua, and he sees and hears everything, he’s like a wise owl.  The brothers really shouldn’t be left to their own devices, they’re dangerous, even if they are trying to help. Zhi Qiang and Shi Lang are fighting over Tao Hua using Judo! Wow, Shi Lang really can’t do anything without Tao Hua (Ref Ep 8).

Zhuan Ge and Yu Yi’s fighting, makes me laugh so much (Ref Ep 9) but at least they are now all trying to do what is best for Tao Hua, rather than seeing her go through something she hates. Those texts, they sent her actually makes me think the brothers are so cute, and that Tao Hua really is what is hold them together. I think Yu Yi is terrific, he found the box and is showing it to Shi Lang (Ref Ep 9). I love how the tables have turned, rather than trying to get rid of Shi Lang, they’re helping Tao Hua, hahahaha.

FINALLY, they get to be together, and everything actually comes together, they kiss and omg…that’s just too cute! I love how Yu Yi tries to comfort Hui Qi as well 🙂 I’d feel just like Tao Hua, if I went over to Shi Lang’s house and met his dad acting like that haha (Ref Ep 9).

Zhi Qiang, makes me laugh, and his imagination you’ve got to hand it to him, in my opinion now that the whole arranged marriage thing has happened, Tao Hua and Shi Lang are so much more happy and the drama is smooth sailing. In Episode 9, everyone has come together, and I actually think it’s cute to watch.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the new drama review, I will upload the next ones when they’re ready. Hope you all had a great Christmas, and wish all of my readers a Happy New Year!
